Course Event Attendance

Admins can track the geolocation, lateness, and absence of a learner for a course. Notifications can be set to alert of lateness and absence. An Absence Report can also be generated for a course.

Geolocation

This feature will send out attendance reminder notifications to learners if their attendance has not been taken a specified amount of minutes before or after the start of an event.

Lateness

This feature will mark learners as late if their attendance was taken a specified amount of minutes after the start of an event.

Notifications can be sent to a:

• Course Director

• Curriculum Coordinator

• Program Coordinator

• Learner

A follow-up notification can also be sent a specified amount of days after an event.

Absence

This feature will mark learners as absent if their attendance was taken a specified amount of minutes after the start of an event.

The Enhanced Absence Tracking can be turned on during course setup.

Notifications can be sent to a:

• Course Director

• Curriculum Coordinator

• Program Coordinator

• Learner

A follow-up notification can also be sent a specified amount of days after an event.

Absence Report

A report of absences per course can be generated if selected during course setup.

The report can be downloaded from the Reports tab within a course.

The following variables can be used in this report:

• Date range (required)

• Event type

• Audience
